Deciphering words with the letter B

Here we provide some examples of various handwriting styles which may help you to decipher some of the handwriting you may come across in your research.  Here are examples of various styles of the letter B.

These are typical capital letter B's

Seeing the letters on their own like this does not always give the best representation of them.

 Here are some words beginning with the capital letter B

These are all in the same style, and their sizes vary according to the writer:-  The first 3 are looped, the others are not looped
