The styles of the capital letter N vary quite widely. From a firmly defined initial loop, it morphs into a more open form and the final stroke sometimes curves right over the rest of the word.
An alternative form has the loop at the top of the initial stroke. This can also vary widely from firmly defined to opened out to just a straight stroke.

There is really only one basic style of the lower case letter n. The way it is written depends on how carefully or tidily it is written (or otherwise!).
It can also differ in terms of the initial stroke, which can vary from a small hook, to a big vertical stroke, or a long curvy stroke.

Under hurried conditions, the lower case letter n can deteriorate to little more than a squiggle.
