Deciphering words with the letter K

Here we provide some examples of various styles of the capital letter K.

There are several styles of the letter K, ranging from the nvery loopy to very straight characters.

There is also considerable variation in the spacing of the different elements of the characters, from fully joined up to widely spaced out.

 Here are some words beginning with the capital letter K

Katharine		Katherine
Keepers		Kent

Here are some more in the second style:

Kennington		Kate
Keepers		Kingsbury

Now for some lower case letter k's.

There are 2 basic styles of the lower case letter k. One has a well defined loop for the vertical stroke, the other has a basically straight line vertical stroke.

There can also be a loop in the joint of the lower part of the character.
